The Best of 2011, Project 52

What is Project 52? It's a personal challenge to photograph & edit something every week. It means no dust gets to settle on your camera. It's a weekly project that survives illness, vacations and power outages. When I took the challenge, it came at just the right time. I was in a slump. I was photographing the same thing all the time. This project helped me to find the beauty all around me and inspired me to photograph more different things in one year than I ever could have imagined. It also honed in on my favorite thing to photograph, my family. I love watching them grow. And they love seeing these photos framed in our home and in my studio. I love holding freshly framed prints.

I'm looking forward to my next adventure - We're hosting our own Project 52 - We hit 41 Members this morning. Our Project will focus on the Educuation, Motivation and Inspiration of Photography at any level. It's nice when you can find a great group to learn from each other.
