Traditions. Everyone has them, especially at the holidays. I like to do all the "Normal" Holiday stuff. We trim a tree. We stuff Stockings. We leave Cookies for Santa & feed the Reindeer. We always take photos with Santa and we Always take a family portrait before Christmas. I collect two things. White Dinnerware (Seriously I'm sick with it) and Holiday Nutcrackers. I only have the Nutcracker Army out at Christmas and I get at least one new one every year. Big Ones, Small Ones, Sparkly ones. I love them. This is an all time favorite - Indiana Jones. It's nice to curl up with my babes by the the light of the Christmas tree. There is something magical about this time of year. Maybe it's because it's nice to reflect on a great year or maybe it's the hope of the new year to come. Either way, it's always my favorite time of year.
