Nine months is a lot of fun. Babies are walking around furniture and crawling at full speed ahead and sometimes backwards. Baby Jackson was a lot of fun. He was full of smiles and came ready for adventure. I really enjoy seeing this little guy every 3 months.

There is something magical about the start of spring. No more frost on my windows. I can wear capri pants. Spring.  It's coming I can feel it. And it's all I can think about. Looks like I have spring fever.

Bellingrath Gardens Wedding: Mandy + Ken

When Michael hung up the phone, he looked at me and said, "Guess who's getting Married?" I like guessing games. I guessed for a few before he finally spilled the news. And then I knew that if Ken Bradley was getting married, she must be pretty special.  He followed it with, "Guess who's photographing the wedding?" Well that was a no brainer. I've known Ken almost as long as I've known Mike.
Ken and Mandy met a little over a year ago at church in small town northern Mississippi. Both hard working professionals had found little time for dating until they met each other. She shared his love for college football. He shared her love for family. They were Engaged over the Thanksgiving holiday and planned a gorgeous small wedding with the help of Team Mom on both ends.
Without a doubt, their parents saw that what their children shared was special, a bond that could not be broken. This bond was formally celebrated with a wedding at Bellingrath Gardens and their love was on display for all to share.
Mandy and Ken... you are two of the nicest and kindest people I know. Your families are amazing and I can't thank you enough for allowing me to document this fantastic day for you.  Ken, I've never seen you more affectionate than on this day. Now. If you are even thinking about it, it's time. Booking early gets you on our calendar first. And when you're early, you can use these great portraits to create amazing Christmas cards, and portrait gifts.  Book your session by December 12, 2014 to view and have your portraits back in time for Christmas.

What is the biggest delay to booking Holiday Portraits?
Many families are waiting for their child to "smile right" or until someone loses just 5 more pounds. Holiday portraits are not a reflection of perfection. They are a beautiful reflection of NOW. Right now teething babies drool. Right now 5 year olds have the biggest most beautiful cheese smile. Right Now you are beautiful. What should we wear for Holiday portraits?
Solids are always best for any portrait, but if someone needs to wear fun plaid or great chevron pattern, dress it on your smallest children.
