Week 22 - Our Favorites!

This week's theme of Reflection really had a lot of great ideas on the theme, some that I thought I'd see and some that I didn't even think of. I was really impressed how our Memorial day holiday was worked into so many photographer's Reflection theme. As the half-way point of project 52 draws near, its great to see the detail to the theme and to see so many of us sticking it out every week and many welcomes to the new friends who are just joining in on the fun.

22/52 "Reflection"

I like to plot out my Project 52 project for a few days before I get out and shoot it. This week, I found some inspiration via 1991's Kodak's photo of the year book. I like to say what's old and good is still good today, besides these old books are fun to look at.

I wasn't crazy about this John Lennon number, but I do enjoy these fine Tom Cruise aviator-like guys. This one is my favorite of the week.

Yes, I did manage to work that 8-pt star filter in again this week, I may have an 8 pt star kind of sickness.

Grant turns Eight

Today is a Banner Holiday in the Ellenburg House, my smallest boy turned Eight today. A fun day of Cake, gifts, video games and Birthday Tacos. Enjoy a pic of Grant on his first day of Big number Eight...

And one of the last day of Seven in Destin, Florida...

Grant is a GREAT son. He brings home excellent grades, is thoughtful, funny and kind. Big Happy Birthdays from a very proud Mom.
